With the Peter Mertes Rotwild Dornfelder lieblich, a first-class red wine comes into the wine glass. Here he offers a wonderfully brilliant, crimson color. With a little time in the glass, this red wine from Germany reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberries, mulberries, black currants and blueberries, rounded off by other fruity nuances.

The light-footed Peter Mertes Rotwild Dornfelder lieblich shows us an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is not least due to its sweet taste profile. The texture of this light-footed red wine is wonderfully powerful on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Rotwild Dornfelder flatters with a velvety palate without missing out on juicy liveliness. In the finish, this from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region inspires with a beautiful length. Again, hints of blackberry and blackcurrant.

The elegant Rotwild Dornfelder lovely from Germany is a varietal wine, vinified from the Dornfelder grape variety. After being picked by hand, the grapes are taken to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for a few months before the wine is finally bottled. After the wine has been finished, the Rotwild Dornfelder is lovingly carefully harmonized.

This red wine from Germany is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It goes perfectly as an accompanying wine with spinach gratin with almonds, leek tortilla or cod with cucumber and mustard vegetables.
