This white wine with its strong character harmonizes perfectly with asparagus salad with quinoa or fried trout with ginger and pear. This wine from Rheinhessen is particularly light-footed for connoisseurs. A fresh white wine, first class as a harmonious drop for a whole range of occasions.

The Rotwild Riesling by Peter Mertes from Rheinhessen offers a brilliant, light yellow color in the swirled glass. This varietal German wine shows wonderfully expressive notes of mirabelle plums, Nashi pear, nectarines and vineyard peach in the glass. There are also hints of other fruits.

The light-footed Peter Mertes Rotwild Riesling shows us an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is not without reason due to its sweet profile. The texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully light on the palate. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Rotwild Riesling is extraordinarily fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region inspires with a beautiful length. Once again there are hints of apricot and vineyard peach.

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Riesling. Only the best grapes were harvested for this extraordinarily elegant varietal wine from Peter Mertes. After being picked by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for a few months before the wine is finally racked. After the wine has been made, the Rotwild Riesling is carefully harmonized.

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to vegetable salad with beetroot, asparagus salad with quinoa or fried trout with ginger and pear.
